Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Doctor's referral?

The short answer is no, BUT some benefits companies require them in order for you to make a claim. You should check with your benefits provider.

Will you bill directly to my insurance/benefits company?

We deal directly with our patients. All documentation needed for insurance claims will be provided.

What makes you different from my other Chiropractor?

Our doctors are all trained as chiropractors but do not practice traditional chiropractic. In 2006, our clinic adopted the Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABC) technique due to it's more consistent and predictable results.  You can find more information about ABC here on our website.

Why do I need a consultation, I already see a Chiropractor?

Our doctors need to ask their own questions and do their own assessment to better understand what is going on with you. Also, the consult is where the patient gets a clear understanding of their problem, the approach we take to correct the problem and answer any questions you may have.  The consultation will take 30 to 40 minutes.

Is the doctor going to snap / crack my neck?

Hard no on the neck snapping! We leave that to the professionals, like hit-men, martial artists and action movie superheroes.

All kidding aside, your doctor will never do anything without your consent.  With ABC, there are no rotary – type neck adjustments.  Check out the ABC section of our website or book a consultation to find out how we're different

What should I wear?

You can wear whatever you like, but clothes that allow for movement are encouraged and you will be asked to remove your shoes and any large jewelry before treatment begins.

How long will It take?

Initial consultations are roughly 30 to 40 minutes and adjustments are approximately 10 minutes long. Laser therapy runs roughly 20 to 30 minutes per session.

How long it will take to for you to have pain relief is an entirely different question that depends on a number of factors such as:

•How long you’ve had the problem

•Your age

•Degenerative changes

•History of trauma, motor vehicle accidents and/or participation in contact sports etc.

•Neurologic symptoms such as numbness, tingling, sciatic pain, headache, etc.

•Level of discomfort

Symptom relief can occur in just a few visits or it can take several months depending on the variables above.

Before you begin care our doctors will discuss symptom care vs. corrective care and prescribe a treatment plan that works best for you.

Can the treatment make me worse?

No.
